The name of this tea comes from the uncommonly large size of the tea leaves which can be nearly the size of a palm before they are rolled. Made by traditional manners, roasted Buddha’s Hand oolong tea from Alishan has a roasted nutty almonds scent. The taste is elegant, the rich custard apple aroma on the palate, followed by honey crisp sweetness concentrated towards the back of the mouth and throat. The aroma left in the bottom of the cup has the touch of nutty and malt incense caused by a slow fire roasting.
