同昌號全名為易武同昌黃記花茶莊，創於1869年，位於雲南西雙版納傣族自治州的易武鄉。

「黃錦堂」為同昌黃記最早期茶品，餅面有較深凹痕，葉色偏紅，竹殼頂面以黑墨書「同昌黃記」。
其仝票文：「本號在易武正街開張同昌黃記揀選細嫩茶葉加工揉造 白尖此茶與眾不同且能銷食除冷去毒存留日久更佳凡 官商光顧請認明內票並元飛為記 主人黃錦堂謹識。」

1930年代 承先啟後，百花齊放的時代


承先啟後的30年代，同為號級茶的百花齊放時代，普洱茶的生產中心也在此時期有所轉移。此時期普洱茶，具有獨特性與區域性，與當時代歷史、經濟與時代工藝、社會文化演變息息相關。1930年代以易武茶區（古六大茶山）為主，至1930年中茶區範圍逐漸擴展到附近的江城地區，可觀其茶業鼎盛。


根據「江城縣誌」記載，1930年代以經營茶葉為主的茶莊百花齊放，有：福泰昌茶號、同興昌茶號、猛景茶莊、高興昌茶號、思普茶莊、敬昌茶號等六七十家大小茶莊。雖然這些茶莊多數於1937年-1945抗日戰爭年間前後歇業，所幸私人茶莊製茶的文化歷史意義與號級經典普洱茶留了下來。
